Corn Silage
Corn silage is a premium forage crop extensively used on dairy and beef cattle farms worldwide as the top-choice feed for animals. Its widespread popularity stems from its ability to yield a highly digestible, high-energy crop of exceptional quality. The ease with which it can be adapted to mechanized harvesting and feeding is an added advantage.
Silage stands out as one of the most sought-after forages for animal feed, owing to its digestibility and high energy content. It boasts numerous characteristics that make it appealing to livestock producers, particularly as an excellent forage for dairy cows.
Agrocroft International, a leading name in agriculture, exports premium Corn silage from Pakistan to destinations across the globe. We offer some of the highest quality Corn silage available in Pakistan, and our prices remain competitive in comparison to other exporters in the market.
PRODUCTION AT AGROCROFT
High Yielding of Corn Silage At AgroCroft
At Agrocroft International, we take a meticulous approach to the production of Corn silage, distinguishing ourselves as one of the premier silage manufacturers in Lahore. A well-structured cropping plan is at the core of efficient silage corn production. This plan is built upon the requirements of forage dry matter, guiding us through the stages of harvesting, drying, storing, and chopping Corn silage. It’s a strategy that consistently delivers premium quality silage for export.
The journey begins with the careful planting of silage corn seeds at the start of the season. We maintain regular oversight of the crops, safeguarding them from potential stressors like drought, insects, or diseases, ensuring a high yield.
Agrocroft Plant Populations and Growth
Agrocroft understands that desired plant population for silage depends on the productivity of the seed and the soil. We make our choices with utmost care. Generally, the population of silage crops should range from 2,000 to 4,000 plants per acre, which differs from the recommended amount for grain crops.
In most cases, this results in an ideal stand of 26,000 to 32,000 plants per acre across Agrocroft farms, utilizing the best corn silage harvest methods. However, on the most productive soils, we opt for higher plant populations. Based on a two-year trial conducted in Pakistani soil, silage yields are maximized at 42,000 plants per acre, yet estimated yields per acre and whole corn plant digestibility peak at 30,000 plants per acre by Agrocroft, resulting in a more cost-effective corn silage price in Pakistan.
Bundling and Storing
Agrocroft holds a top-tier approach to bundling and packaging Corn silage. While packaging, we take meticulous care to ensure that the nutrients are preserved. At Agrocroft International, we bundle Corn silage into 80 KG round bales. These bales are subsequently wrapped in plastic film to prevent nutrient loss. This packaging methodology makes transportation efficient and minimizes waste.
Storage
Before export, we store Corn silage in our warehouses, ensuring it is kept at the appropriate temperature, shielded from direct sunlight. Agrocroft International Corn silage can be stored for up to three years, maintaining its high quality over time.
The Dairy Group includes milk, yogurt, cheese, lactose-free milk and fortified soy milk and yogurt. The Dairy Group does not include foods made from milk that have little calcium and a high fat content. Examples of this are cream cheese, sour cream, cream, and butter.
The confusion could also come from the use of similar terminology - dairy product and animal by-product. But, contrary to these common misconceptions, eggs are NOT a dairy product. While eggs are indeed produced by animals and therefore by definition an animal by-product, they are not a derivative of dairy products.
While peanuts may cause allergies by themselves they don't actually contain any dairy, at all. Dairy can only be obtained from milking animals, despite some misleading food names.
